I actually prepared for this, asked BB to setup her telescope in her room window, which she doesn't like doing because she feels the next building neighbors could see her, her room when the lights are on. Hmmmp, she's so... (bites tongue.)
Anyway, she did this one time for me.. yep, she agrees that this window has a near and non obstructed vantage of the dance of the moon. Our first lunar eclipse with a telescope ;)
But, like the past week's nights, the sky has never been clear from clouds. I have never seen my usual orion when i gaze up, plus the fact i have not been going anywhere during these past few nights.. I miss my stars.
So there.. waited for 4 hours, actually went to the other side of the building (the pool area just to double check.) but all the moon wanted was peace and quiet. The moon slept for 4 hours, used the earth and the clouds as blanket. Oh well. Sweet dreams.
